Mia is a beautiful young cat, around 1 year old, who came into foster care after being sadly left behind with her six newborn kittens. She did an incredible job raising them and is now ready to find a loving home of her own.
Mia is full of energy and personality. She loves to play and will happily entertain herself (and you!) all day long — especially with pom poms, feathers, and even her own tail.
While she isn’t a lap cat, she is affectionate in her own way. She’ll follow you from room to room like your shadow and come running to greet you at the door. She’s been wonderful company for her work-from-home foster carer.
Mia is a confident, friendly girl who enjoys attention, even from visitors once she’s had a little sniff. She may occasionally give a gentle “love bite” when overexcited, which may not suit very young children or those unfamiliar with cats.
Mia would prefer a home without dogs. With slow introductions, she may live with another young cat, but would also be happy as the only pet, especially if someone is home much of the time. She would love access to a safe, secure garden.
Mia is spayed, vaccinated, and up to date with parasite treatments. She has a partially blocked tear duct which causes no discomfort. A specialist has advised no treatment is needed, but if issues arise, the branch will cover further assessment with their vet.
